| | Protect the Environment - Regardless of debate on the causes of global warming, taking responsible steps to reduce pollution, water contamination or oil dependence is good for citizens and the economy.
- The Federal Government should look at programs like the California-based GoGreen Initiative (founded by Jill Buck, former GOP nominee for Assembly in Pleasanton, CA) that uses education and market incentives to achieve real cost savings and results.
- The US should require that foreign countries, such as Mexico, meet the same environmental standards (such as not polluting the American Canal which runs along the border or the Tijuana River which flows into San Diego Bay) as US cities and companies.
- Foreign governments and international bodies will not be allowed to impose Environmental (or any other) laws on the US.
