Helped bring in new jobs and keep job-creators in the area. Brought the Home Shopping Network and the American Hotel Registry businesses to Fontana, both of which are now in the top ten sales tax producers for the community.

Brought new shopping and entertainment facilities to the area – so we don’t have to drive to Riverside or LA. Reopened the Mary Vagle Museum and Nature Center for community use and expanded programming to include environmental education programs, field trip tours, outdoor summer camps and on-going recreational classes.

Helped facilitate the development of 7 new community shopping centers (Ralphs, Vons, Sierra Lakes, Summit Heights, Regency, Empire Center, Empire North)

Facilitated the expansion of Chaffey College.
