I think that government needs to be more hopeful and more honest.

We should be working to help make people's lives better, safer and more secure; not spending time and thousands of dollars in congressional political donations trying to overthrow duly elected Mayor's in deceptive re-call attempts such as occured in Colton.

We need a Congressman who listens to and serves all the people of the district, not one that is a bully that rules by intimidation because he has a safe seat because of political gerrymandering.

I've spent my life helping make people safer as a Firefighters and later as a community volunteer and since 1992 as a City Councilmember.  

 I have enjoyed and received great personal satisfaction in serving the people of San Bernardino County for the last 37 years. As your Congressman I will be your servant as I have been as a Firefighter and Councilmember. You have my word that I will listen to your concerns, and serve with integrity, honesty and hard work.
